# Decomp (New!)

"Reverse" pre-compositions. Flatten precomps back to layers in the active composition or, across entire projects.

**Scope**

* Limit Decomp to either the selected composition, or all instances of the selected composition across the project

**Transforms**

* Preserves the precomp layer's position, scale, rotation, and opacity.

**Effects**

* Re-creates all effects from the precomp layer onto each extracted child layer. Copies values, keyframes, and expressions

**Delete Precomp**

* Removes the source comp item from the project once all instances are decomped
