# Trim

## Description

Automatically adds a Trim Path to your layer.

## Setup

1. Select one or more layers and properties you'd like to add trim paths to.
2. Run the Trim tool

## Alternative: Re-Key

Our new Re-Key tool offers a better alternative to the older Trim tool. With Re-Key, you can not only add Trim Paths, but specify start/end/offset keyframes, as well as durations.
